A lot of bands exist on this planet, but not all can be “rockstars” of the underground! Baroness – the new masters of stoner rock, publish in the near future a new album with the title “Blue record” on Relapse. A big point to talk with John Baizley, the “big” chief of Baroness:
RaF: What is your deep intention to make music? Please tell us something about your spirit behind Baroness!
John Baizley: We started baroness as an outlet for our expression. It grew almost instantly from a semi-serious band to a full-blown art project. From almost the very beginning baroness has provided us with a means to express ourselves musically, lyrically and artistically.

I’m happy about, that you can read the first interview in “kt”. It is a big pleasure for me, to get some answers from Rachael Kozak (Hecate) the shouterin of the extreme project Treachery, which get a nice review about their first selftitled EP in the “kt”. Please read it in english – there is no translation!
Who have the first idea to start the project or band Treachery? Why? Please tell our readers someting about the founding process of Treachery. Who is the chief of Treachery? What is the deeper meaning of the name Treachery for the people behind the project?
I came up with the idea and name for the band, and immediately knew I wanted Abelcain and S/M to participate. There is no “chief” or master in Treachery – we all give our best efforts to make the sickest music possible. Although I am the most well known in other music circles, and handle most of the press – we all divide the workload evenly.
