The German composer Helge Bol created with “Schneetage” (snow days) an album which oversteps the borders of jazz and contemporary classic in an amazing way. Hauntingly and lyrical piano miniatures are telling stories and give rise to scenes of a winter landscape. The titles and songs are like pictures or scenes.
